In this project, I am supposed to ask my parents about bandwidth and internet usage, and then write a screenplay about it. Enjoy.
(we enter with two guys sitting on couch with computers on their laps.) Me: So I’m supposed to ask you about bandwidth. I don’t even know what that is! Dad: Bandwidth is how fast things are able to come down to you. It is time for me to show you a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XTTtkisylQw Dad: So that relates to bandwidth: how fast things are coming to you. That assignment is about what the limit of things that are coming to you. Me: Oh, do we have a limit? Dad: We don’t have a limit. Me: Ok. . . I can’t imagine a life where the Internet company monitors my youtube usage. . . Thank you for being so much more tech-savvy than other parents: I don’t know where I’d be if I didn’t have a smart tech-user as my Dad! So that's my screenplay. Yep. I was going to make a poster of a person riding a flying unicorn with bedazzled words saying THE SKY'S THE LIMIT, pertaining to the internet usage, but I didn't have time and it wouldn't have made sense. So yeah.
In this project we watched five minutes of five Shakespearean comedies, taking stream-of-consciousness notes all the while. Then we went to http://tagul.com/ and made a word cloud out of them, and here we go!
